Our Mission

BBOKAMOSO Skills Development Projects is a registered South African nonprofit organisation (NPO Registration No. 228-623, PBO Reference No. 930071634, Section 18A Approved) based in Meadowlands, Soweto. We are committed to empowering children, youth, women, and vulnerable communities through education, skills development, entrepreneurship, food security, and sustainable community development. Our flagship School-Based Community Development Hub Model transforms schools into centres of learning, opportunity, and community empowerment. Working closely with partner schools, government, businesses, and community stakeholders, we provide integrated programmes that improve educational outcomes while addressing poverty, unemployment, and inequality. Our key focus areas include education support, youth leadership, employability, entrepreneurship, digital and financial literacy, school food gardens, nutrition support, poultry and food security initiatives, menstrual health and dignity, environmental sustainability, community volunteerism, sports development, and school infrastructure improvement. We believe every child and young person deserves the opportunity to learn, develop valuable skills, and build a brighter future. Through practical, community-led solutions, we create pathways from education to employment, entrepreneurship, and active citizenship while strengthening families and building resilient communities. Our programmes currently benefit learners, young people, parents, educators, and vulnerable households across Meadowlands and surrounding communities, with our operational hub based at eMpumalanga Primary School. We work in partnership with government departments, corporate social investment (CSI) programmes, foundations, development agencies, international NGOs, schools, volunteers, and local businesses to deliver sustainable, measurable impact.
