Campaign Story
Every young person deserves hope, opportunity and a pathway to success. Across South Africa, many young people leave school without access to career guidance, further education or meaningful employment. In previously disadvantaged communities, poverty, unemployment and crime continue to limit their opportunities. System of Support NPC was established to change this reality. We are a registered Non-Profit Company dedicated to empowering young people through education, career development, mentorship and community support. Guided by accountability, transparency and ethical leadership, we are committed to creating lasting opportunities and transforming lives. Since the start of our organisation till now we have already demonstrated that meaningful change is possible—even without donor funding. Our Founder personally financed the registration, compliance and operational costs of the organisation, allowing us to begin serving communities immediately. Since our inception, we have: - Trained educators and library staff. - Delivered Online Career Questionnaire programmes. - Provided career guidance to learners. - Built partnerships with schools and libraries. - Assisted matriculants in accessing internship opportunities. Refer to our facebook page to see some of what we have done: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61590516852309 These achievements demonstrate our commitment to creating opportunities long before receiving external financial support. We are now launching the HELPING YOUTH SUCCEED CAMPAIGN to expand our reach across disadvantaged communities on the Cape Flats. Over the next three months, we aim to: - Train 50 librarians in 10 Cape Flats communities to provide career guidance support. - Train 20 educators and 50 matriculants to use the Online Career Questionnaire. - Assist 200 matriculants with career guidance, CV preparation, internship applications and pathways to tertiary education and employment. For many young people, this support will be the first opportunity they have ever had to receive structured career guidance and assistance in planning their future. Why We Need Your Support: To successfully deliver this campaign, we require essential resources that will allow our team to reach underserved communities where these services are often unavailable. Your donation will help fund: - Two laptops for programme delivery and learner assessments. - Mobile internet connectivity for online career assessments and applications while working in communities with limited internet access. - Printing of certified internship application documents, career questionnaires, CVs and educational resources. - Stationery and training materials. - Transport and fuel to schools, libraries and community venues. CAMPAIGN BUDGET (R60,000) -Two laptops R24,000 - Mobile internet connectivity R 3,000 - Printing and educational resources R 5,000 - Stationery and training materials R 3,000 - Travel and fuel R18,000 - Givio platform fee (5%) R 3,000 - Payment processing & contingency R 4,000 *** Total Campaign Goal R60,000 We have intentionally included the 5% Givio platform fee and a modest contingency for payment processing and unforeseen programme costs, ensuring complete transparency and uninterrupted programme delivery. Your contribution will directly enable us to: - Empower 200 young people with practical career guidance. - Improve access to internships, tertiary education and employment opportunities. - Equip librarians and educators with sustainable career development tools that will continue benefiting learners long after this campaign ends. - Extend life-changing services to communities where access to career guidance remains limited. Every laptop, printed resource and community visit creates another opportunity for a young person to discover their potential and build a brighter future. The Helping Youth Succeed Campaign is more than a fundraiser—it is an investment in South Africa's future. Through partnerships with schools, libraries, communities and donors, we are reducing educational inequality and creating pathways to education, employment and opportunity. Your support does more than fund equipment—it helps young people discover careers, access internships, continue their education and build lives filled with hope and purpose. Together, we can achieve more.
