Our Mission
YouthTable S.A. was created to give hope, dignity and opportunity to young people and families in our community. Every morning, we serve warm porridge, and every Wednesday, we serve soup to community members who need it. We provide essential services completely free of charge, including SASSA, SARS, ID applications, CVs and online job applications. For first-time SASSA applicants, we help save them from waking up early to stand in long queues and spending money on taxi fare just to access assistance. Our work is powered by young volunteers who give their time to serve others. They assist community members at our organisation and also go door-to-door to learn about people's needs, explain the services we offer and connect those who need help with the right support. We believe that true community development starts by listening, serving and creating opportunities.
