Beyond the Degree: Career guidance for unemployed Graduates and matriculants

Hi my name is Senamile Massinga from Richards Bay I started Imizamo Yethu Career Guidance Drive because I see our youth hurting. I live in a community where development is scarce, most people are unemployed more especially our youth we have unemployed graduates. What i saw is that most of us we just choose any degree. Not because we love it. "Just to' get a job. No one is telling us that some courses are phasing out or industries upgrades their systems to robots while youth is busy studying towards to courses that will be no longer needed. So I wanted to help them to have information, choose courses that are well informed with, and also try other means like working online from. Encourage them to start their own businesses. Some want to but there's no information, some wants to study but there's no fees. So they sit at home, feeling lost and hopeless. My dream: I want to give youth INFORMATION. The right information. To tell them: "There are other paths besides a degree." - How to earn money online while you save for school - How to turn your skill into a business - Where to find FREE online certificates - How to apply for learnerships and internships - What to do while waiting to raise school fees What your donation will do: With your help, we will run free career workshops in Richards Bay schools and communities. We will bring speakers, print guides, data for online learning, and mentor youth 1-on-1. R50 = data for 1 youth to do a free online course R200 = transport + materials for 1 workshop R500 = help 1 youth apply for 5 learnerships with proper CV help The future I see: Youth who are not just "looking for any job" but who know their purpose. Youth who start businesses. Youth who study with a plan. Youth who have hope. Please help me reach them before they give up. Every donation, big or small, is a seed for someone’s future. Thank you.
