Every child deserves the chance to read. Every community deserves the chance to thrive. In 2025, Siyazana YDF placed over 10,000 books into the hands of children across South Africa. Now, in 2026, we are taking the next step — with a bold target of 15,000 books reaching young readers nationwide. South Africa’s literacy crisis is too serious to ignore. We cannot afford to simply talk about the problem — we must tackle illiteracy at its root. This is the second leg of our national book distribution campaign, and we are calling on individuals, businesses, organisations and communities to join hands with Siyazana YDF in putting books where they belong: in the hands of children.
