Campaign Story
Menstrual hygiene management is a pressing issue in our community, with many school-going girls lacking access to affordable and hygienic menstrual products. This hinders their ability to attend school and participate in other social and economic activities. School girls who cannot afford sanitary pads are forced to use unsanitary alternatives, such as cloths, which exposes them to infections and health risks. This can lead to absenteeism, low self-esteem, and ultimately, dropouts. Objectives: The objectives of this project are to: 1. Improve access to affordable and hygienic menstrual products for school-going girls and women in the community. 2. Reduce absenteeism and school dropouts among school girls due to menstrual- related challenges. 3. Empower school girls and boost their self-esteem by providing them with access to menstrual products.
